    Default Scar 17s optics and accessories

    What Optics/lasers/etc will hold up to a Scar17?
    I hear of high-end scope for scar 17 getting broken. I read that .mil had lasers and other accessories redesigned so that they could stand up to a 17.
    A 100% reliable rifle doesn't do you much good if it makes your optics go down.

    One of the guys I shoot with shoots his Scar 17 a lot. His has a Trijicon ACOG on it. So far no issues. I shoot a FAL lot and have been through a couple red dots. Bolt thrust on those heavy 308 bolts are hard on things. The SCAR 17 he owns is very accurate for what it is. My son’s army unit had some 17s and they had ELCAN specters on theirs. I think they were 1 X 4s but might have been 1X 6s.
