    Default Latest build 6.5 Creedmoor

Just finished up my latest M14 type rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Bula Defense Systems XM21 receiver, all parts including NM 22" barrel are Bula with SEI Vortex on the end. Chassis is JAE Gen III in Lox Blue. Scope Night Force ATACR 5-25x56mm F1. Atlas bipod and Acushot monopod.
Lightened hammer and adjustable trigger by Shooting sight. Lots of TLC.

Thanks Bruce. If it works out like a couple of others I have built I should be able to draw smiley faces on 1" dots at 100 yds.

That was done with commercial 140 gr Hornady ammo. Handloads usually do a bit better.
Once this barrel is broken in, I would expect to eliminate the fliers that are present in the photo. One I built up for .308 will easily maintain 10 rnd groups between .5 and .75 repeatably with no fliers.

Re: Photo. In all seriousness, I kind of thought that the odd rounds out were flyers. But I didn't want to be rude. A rifle like that is ... to quote Sam Spade, "the stuff dreams are made of." Sincerely. bruce.
