    Help!

Bought a Smith Carona '03A3 in 1962. Has a great 6 groove barrel marked SC. Have always been curios about my best shooter. After all I paid $20 bucks for it (plus a little more to turn it into a rifle but, things were cheaper then).

$20 was more money in 1962. Federal minimum wage was $1.15 per hour before taxes.
Anyway, all Smith Corona S/N's ran between 3,608,000 and 4,992,000. The 6 grooves doesn't help with dating or anything else about 'em either. Especially as Smith-Corona barrels were made by High Standard.
    Spelling and grammar count!
