there was one for sale on Gunboards for 500, but don't think it sold ,

general consensus was it was worth 300 -350 on the Enfield board there

    Lyman, Thanks!

Now I'm conflicted. I picked up the L59A1 and a Steyr M95 that has been "DP'd". (FP clipped, Bolt face welded and the receiver ring and barrel breech opened up with a milling cut.) I know where there are several 1903 Springfield that have been dewatted. My problem is that I've always heard that if you have 3 of anything they qualify as a "collection". I don't know if I even want to collect drill rifles......

I collected a few just to preserve them. So many were being used to restored sporterized rifles. I’d agree with the 3 to 350 value of the L59A1.

    I feel your pain,

I have 3 Enfields my self, (2 DP's and a trainer) that I was not really adding to the collection, but they seem to accumulate!
