Default That time of the year

I looked out my bedroom window yesterday and saw two bear cubs gamboling through my pasture, about 50 feet away. I didn't see Mama but you can bet she wasn't far away. It's time to put away my Colt Woodsman and start carrying my Colt New Service in .45 Colt.

Does my heart good to hear that...you folks don't realize how lucky you are to have normal rainfall, slow overnight (not by the bucket full, 1" in 5 min ) and cool nights (anything below 97 degrees). Just got off the roof of my daughters house repairing shingle storm damage. Chamber of Comerce says it's 97 degrees (keeps the tourists coming) my thermo said 12 degrees, course being on the roof may have helped.

Flip side is while you are shoveling snow off your driveway, I'll be shoveling sunshine.

Spider webs in my face after walking around the yard.
