Back in school we had to sign into class and the substitute instructors used to cross the bogus names off the attendance list before turning them in. One day, myself and a black kid who sat in front of me were hauled into the discipline office for cutting class. S.B. Black and J.B. White were both crossed off. We all had a good laugh when we realized what had happened.
