  1. Default F-4 for sale: is Ed still around?

I haven't been to this forum in ages, but when I saw this link, I had to wonder if Ed was still around.

"For sale by Platinum Warbirds – F4H-1F ‘145310’ was delivered to the Navy in 1959 and was the 11th pre-production aircraft built."

Asking price is $3.9 million. Restoration is not complete. Spares are included.

Ed Flanagan aka Goo? I deeply regret to inform you he passed away a few years ago. He is missed.

What's an F-4 got to do with Lee-Enfields? Just curious.

Ed was an avid Lee Enfield collector and participated on the boards from their beginnings. He had been an F-4 RIO in Vietnam, an F-14 instructor, and a glider jock just for grins... and he liked to talk flying in his unique way.
