Thread: Usmc 1903??

  1. Default Usmc 1903??

A good friend just acquired this 1903 from a local gun shop. Serial # is 1010192 with a barrel date of 10-18. It has a hand stippled butt plate and an electro penciled number on the bolt (820008). The scant C stock is unmarked with the exception of the symbols 2 A 359 on the top of the butt stock. There is no Hatcher hole on the left of the receiver. Might this be a USMC rifle? Does the SRS show either the rifle or bolt serial #'s in its database? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Len

The rifle appears to be an authentic USMC rifle. Neither serial number appears in SRS.
