I put together a collection of British Military cartridges over the years, I think that I
have most of them.
Can you identify them all ?dscn0604.jpg

no I can not, but I always wanted one of those coiled martini henry rounds.
450, 303, 8mm, 303. 5.56, 7.62x51 and maybe the .284????
missed two of them
third cartridge was for a well known bolt action
number five is a semi auto
number seven is 223/5,56mm
number three 30-06?
third cartridge is the 276 Enfield for the Pattern 13 rifle which later became the Pattern 14 in 303 cal then the Enfield 1917
in 30-06 cal
Number 5 is the British 4,85x49mm for the SA 80 bull pup
thanks for the reply. how about a .577 Snyder and a .402 martini? maybe a .303 rimless? while looking around the net I found this site https://sites.google.com/site/britmilammo/home
What? You forgot the 8mm for the machine guns in their tanks? lol. Wasn't the 4.85 an FN development possibly with the Brits?
Your are right, I did not include the 7,92mm BESA tank m/g modified from the ZB 37
4,85x49mm developed from ourP1010012_0010.jpg 5,56mm, the British wanted a longer case neck
did they ever adopt the .276 enfield and put it in production?
