The pistol grip seems to have a "Circled P" stamp on it, which would suggest the inserted grip was fashioned from the wrist area of another U.S. rifle stock.

I believe that is just a wood plug to cover the screw used to secure the pistol grip to the stock, but I will double check it when I get back home.Originally Posted by butlersrangers
