Thread: SRS Check

  1. Default SRS Check

    Springfield 1903A1's sn#'s 1341665 and 1343117.

    thank you!!

Neither is listed in SRS. 1343116 is listed as a Sporter. If they have all the characteristics of a NM, they probably are ones that were sold to military shooters.

    Thanks m1903rifle.

Yes, SA 1343117 has the small "star gauge" stamp on the front of the muzzle, "S A/bomb/3-37" on the barrel behind the front sight, and "C/28704" underneath the forearm. The receiver is fitted with a "NS" and "3" marked bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock with "B" inside the handguard, circled "P" behind the trigger guard, boxed "SA/SPG" cartouche on the left side, and a heavy checkered steel buttplate.

The closest serial number in my SRS data is 1463765. That is a 1903A1NM that was sold n 4-20-1939. There are many NM's and receivers listed in that sn range.
