    Default dating garand bayonets

    how do you date these bayonets?Attachment 42860Attachment 42861 there is nothing on the other side of the blades.

    Can't get an exact date but here s a great work by a very kind and generous man who sadly is no longer with us.

    It appears that both were modified from 1942 long bayonets. I don't know when 1942's were stopped in favor of the shorter WWII bayonet. Regards, Clark

    thank you sir for the reply. the UFH blade does not appear to have been shortened.
