    It’s not mine came into sell on consignment. I’ll post more pics tomorrow night. Been reading up if SF 8 of 06 barrel could have originally been screwed on a 4 digit RI receiver.... still reading.

    The serial number for a 6-07 barrel that is on an original and correct assembly line rifle that is documented is 87229. And serial number 94160, is recorded as having a 8-07 barrel, These are recorded as in the first months of RI production of original line assembly rifles and not made up of mic parts produced earlier. The rifle you have was most likely put together from early rod bayonet rifle parts , Ray

    Thanks Ray that’s what I’m finding also. It’s been through a rearsenal as it has an X marked bolt P proof 2 bolt stock with no cartouches and some later parts.
