    Default Colourised photo's of WW11 planes.

    I ran across this and wanted to pass it on. I particularly like the one about the pilot who got his arm amputated and continued to fly and fight.

    "...the pilot who got his arm amputated..." Doug Bader flew and fought with no legs.
    There's something wrong with the picture of the damaged tail of the Boeing B-17F. That's a famous picture that has the wrong background. The aircraft had that done over Europe, not desert. And it was 'Fat Boy' not Man.
