Too tame, I prefer the Daytona 500 type of sport. Hated it when good ole' 43 retired. When I was a kid my Dad delivered his cars, completely stripped down no seats or steering wheel. Dad had a steering wheel to switch from each car and sat on a wooden milk crate. As an 11 year old it was exciting to sit in a vehicle that would be a 43. I asked Dad what was done with the wrecked cars, Dad said that the engines were pulled with the tires for the rims. The car was dumped "out back" and crushed with a D5 as Chrysler wanted them destroyed. After a year of setting they could be sold as scrap. It was a thrill to set where Petty would sit and best of all my Dad knew and talked to Richard. Looking back I wish I had asked Dad to get an autographed picture...oh well could always see better with hindsight.

Did a port-of-call in Freemantle and went to watch a game between a local club and the ships team. Not enough people showed up and I got drafted to play.
I was sore for weeks and thought my ears would get ripped off. And they went easy on us, LOL. Lot of fun and good people.
