Tombstone. Sure hope Hawk brings it back again. I love shooting other's rifles.

I'll bring it up next time I visit. I really enjoy shooting that rifle. Will also bring my M40A3 so we can see if changing out the bolt guts fixes those FTFs from last time.

I love the style of the shooting. It's really scope tracked well and the earplugs that you wear so amazing.

Never saw a M40 in .223. Where did you get it?

Nice rifle. What make is it? Was it a 40X Remington in .223? What ammo are you using? What range are you shooting?

This is my "Toy" in .223. It is a Savage M11 with a Nikon 3-9X40 on it. The target was fired at 100 yards. Ammo was over the counter Hornady Varmint,

    Remington 700 with a Bartlein 1/7.7 barrel.

Receiver is a 5 digit originally in .308. I found an old period small face bolt to convert it to .223

Ammo is a load I developed for my AR carbine...77 SMK, 22.9 8208XBR, WSRP, WCC 08 1X brass.

    Range is 100 yards.

Think a little more powder in the 23 grain range will wake this gun up.
