Has anybody tried any Trail Boss loads in their LN 1903? The pressures seems extremely mild and it doesn't seem that a load would be able too, even if a case ruptured, have a catastrophic effect on the receiver. Any thoughts on the matter?

I use Trail Boss in .44-40 and .45-70...and indeed it does produce fairly mild pressure in pistol size cartridges. I do know that in larger cases(.45-70) and bigger loads it can produce some pressure at the limits of Trapdoor Springfield levels. There is some load data for bottle neck cartridges available from Hogdens. I would check them out
