FYI..these holsters are USN WW2 issue for 4" S&W Victory models, and are sometimes called "Shore Patrol" (or SP) holsters. There is no provision for mounting to a standard waist belt, and there are generally no markings whatsoever on them. I believe the maker to be Boyt, but, then again, without any markings it's hard to tell. Years ago I was poking around a Chicago surplus dealer's store and found a roughly four foot tall box of these, all brand new with unfolded flaps. When new, these are a light russet, almost suntan color. None had any markings...
