I'm toying with the idea of making a change, and just wanted to gather opinion:

Currently, and for the last several years, I load my 30-06 rounds with a Nosler 168 gr HPBT Custom Competition bullet over 44.0 grains of H-4895 and a CCI #34 primer. I use this for CMP Match shooting in both my 1903A3 (with HXP brass) and my Garand (with Lake City brass). In my 03A3, it's pretty darn accurate. In my Garand, it's getting close but not near where I want to be. Others I shoot with use the Hornady A-Max 168 gr bullet, and I'm thinking of trying them for both. If my scores improve, then I'll switch permanently... but right now, I just want to try and see.

For what it's worth, I'm not looking to change the load data... just the bullet.

What does everyone else think about the Hornday 168 gr A-Max bullet?
