Seems to me these would be ideal in this situation . . .like the airboats!

I'm thinking they'd be a little too large to safely navigate the urban hazards in most cases. Their use would have to be very limited.Originally Posted by JimF

In my part of the state we get an average of 7" rainfall per year. I can't even comprehend 48" falling in a few days.

It was interesting. We would get bands of heavy rain and then light rains. What I find interesting is who ever was responsible for the NWS daily forecast got it wrong. I read the 7 day forecast every day and it normally mentioned 4 inches a day. Hell I got once 4 inches in an hour.
