    Default 1911's from CMP?

I hope they put a reasonable limit on these or they will be gone 1 hour after they are available.

Depends on the selling price. If too high people will realize they can get a brand new 1911 for less. If the sale price is low they will be gone in minutes.

Keep in mind, these aren't Garands. If the CMP ever sees 1911s they will have to be delivered to the buyers' local FFL and will be subject to the same buying process as commercial pistols. This should slow sales.

It will slow down the transfer process by a day or maybe a few days, but not the buying process. People will order the same amount whether it comes to their door or whether they have to stop after work and pick it up at the local gun store. When you waited years for this, what's a few more days?

But don't hold your breath. The new wording says "Shall Transfer" but does not give a timetable. If the transfers are due to start in 2019 the whole program may be scrapped if Trump is not re-elected.

It's already been stated by CMP that the lowest grade will be in the $1000 range. Mix master beat to Hades is not a good buy anywhere.
