Default Model 1884 Serial Number Inquiry

I have a nice Model 1884 rifle, serial no. 464141, that I would appreciate someone looking up in their database. I noted "10th Ohio Vol." in my notes at the time of purchase but can't explain where I came by that info. Probably just because the serial number is close to one that has been identified but thought I should find out for sure or dump the note.

Thanks in advance for your help...........

Yea, it's right between two consecutive serial numbers that were among those listed as issued to the 10th Ohio. It looked like the complete list for that unit. Your rifle's serial number is not on that list of issued rifles.

I was wondering if I should've put that differently Dick.
I should've said that there are consecutive numbers listed on either side of that rifle which went to the 10th Ohio.
