    Default New years resolutions

New years resolutions are a wasted effort and make you a liar. I figured since the greatest gun salesman in US history goes away (maybe?) on the 20th of this month, then it is time to go no further in debt by not purchasing firearms in 2017. Good resolution!

On the 2nd of January I walked into my local gun shop and saw them putting out an M1 Garand on the shelf. "Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Purdy gun thingy!"

So now I have more debt and more guns.

It is an Anniston rebuild (A4 2-65), HRA receiver.

More pictures later if anyone is interested.

Ooooh, is right. I just picked up a 5.7 HRA and part of the reason was it was marked AN, but yours is nicer.

The wood looks brand new. There are no stamps on the stock except in the barrel channel. In the channel is an ink stamped "300/268" and a hand written "KD".
Is this a non military mfg. stock?
