Which is the best book about M1903 Springfield Rifles, especially in regards to the M1922 .22 Cal. models.

The book I turn to most often is The Springfield 1903 Rifles by Brophy.
Second most useful to me is The '03 Springfield Rifles' Era by Campbell.
I have a few more books on the 1903, that include 1922 Series info but I seldom use them.

    Herschel:
Have you ever thought of doing a book or at least a picture essay on what you have in your collection or have seen through the years on the M1922's?

    n64atlas,

Yes, I have thought about it and even talked to a fellow collector about it. Several people have suggested this to me. I have talked to several people who wrote books and they all said it was a bigger project than they expected. I understand that the owner of SRS is planning a book about the 1922 Series Springfields. As of now I am not inclined to take on such a project.
