Widely panned by critics, this is actually a pretty good movie. In my opinion the producers made a mistake emphasizing the "You will be ordered to execute your wife..." plotline in the trailers. It sounds just too far fetched - but the way the movie presents it - it works as a plot line. Brad Pitt did a decent job as an RCAF hotshot behind-the-lines Lysander driver and SOE operative, but he was a little shy on Brit military snap and dash. Lots of Lysanders and Lancasters, most are CGI but it's good cgi! An HE-177 in cgi is shown being shot down over London. The ambiance feels like what I think of as an authentic WW-2 feel.
The trailers show an assassination which you probably will have seen but this is a small part of the Movie. It's kind of a chick flick re the romantic stuff but it's a decent war/military/aviation one as well and I recommend it.
