    Default Western Super-X Ammo

I have a box of Western Super-X 30 Springfield 1906 ammunition. Is this collectable ammunition? I have enclosed a couple of pictures. Thanks for the help.025.jpg030.jpg

Not much special about it. It is from the '50s. If it was for the 30-03 or had an animal on the box, it would be collectible.

I will assume the head stamp matches the quote, and then there are the primers; the primers have a dome so I would say the 20 cases in the box are more collectable than CASES WITH A 30/06 Springfield head stamp.

Entirely, maybe. The Western Cartridge Company predates Olin and bought Winchester in 1931. If there's a date on the inside of the box it might be collector stuff.
Head stamp will be either WCC or WESTERN. No idea which came first. The lads at cartridgecollectors.org/ will be able to tell you.
    Spelling and grammar count!
