  1. Default Anyone recognize the marking on this band?

    Received this as a '03A3 band but speculation is that it might be Enfield.

    In the Enfield world, an A within a C is a Canadian Arsenals marking.

    That makes perfect sense. Looks like I have a Canadian Arsenals No4 lower band.

    Looks more like a poorly stamped broad arrow in a 'C' to me. The Canadian acceptance stamp. Amounts to the same thing as Canadian Arsenals stamp.

    CA is a postwar marking as they morphed Long Branch.
    Did you happen to get it from GPC/Numrich? A long time ago they sent me an 03A3 band instead of a No4 band as part of a larger parts order. Ended up trading it off in a round-about way.

    I always say, "Numrich is batting 1000 with me. They've never gotten an entire order correct yet!" True. Always something wrong even if it's just a small screw.
