    Not in the SRS list. Closest are:

    304947 04/02/09 2nd Co Sig. Corps, NY NG
    304996 11/25/40 Trp D 115th Cav (H-MECZ) Yours looks like it could be a NRA sales rifle. Any more pictures?

    Doesn't look like it spent a lot of time with the troops to me. That is to say it is most likely an NRA sales rifle.

    I agree - most likely a NRA Sales rifle - a real beaut! No bolt straight side stock!

    It's a Wonderful rifle!!! A Beautiful rifle!!! Woweeewow!

    Why don't you slide that leather keeper back up to where it belongs, near the rear barrel band sling swivel?

    Looks like a no-groove, no-clips handguard. Very close to the change over later in 1910.

    sight cut added in 09, clips added in 10...

    You are right. I have a 1909 sales rifle with out the sight groove or clips.
