    Default WTB: M1 Garand, Springfield barrel, late 1955

    I need a Springfield barrel in the mid to late 1955 time frame. 1956 is ok too.

    Original finish is preferred
    Looking for a barrel with Good numbers and with a strong muzzle

    Nothing shot out or bent
    Nothing rusty corroded,etc
    No pitting inside or out

    Looking for a nice GI barrel

    The '56 dated barrels are hard to come by, I've been looking for a February, March or April 1956 barrel for a 6-million M1 receiver, the three that I've found were all NM stamped between the gas cylinder rings.
