    Default Usn m1911 ??

    The local gun shop got this in the door the other day. The barrel is a S P marked.
    The S/N is 427343. Best guesses???

    mixmaster. the last US Navy marked slide was serial number 110,000.

    If the price is right it may be a good buy. I doubt the shop paid very much for it.

    427343 would, most likely, be a 1918 M1911 Dark Army.

    Looks like a 1912 Navy slide. There are a few variations of 1912 Navy slides,---not sure what variation this is.

    The slide hasn't been through rebuild, and it doesn't appear the receiver has either. Something someone assembled.

    I talked to the seller earlier........they are asking $2,200.
