KCW, I had the same problem understanding the dialog. Could understand very few words spoken. I to have tinnitus that takes up almost half of my hearing, could be somewhat worse than yours. Got the idea, but none of the dialog. Great place they shot the movie at.

Richard Harris also did "A man called horse". I remember it as being pretty graphic with the initiation scene. Didn't really like that.

Been a mountainy man follower a while, even shoot a fullstock flintlock bigbore Hawkin... my favorite movie was always 'The Mountainmen', haven't been to a rondyvoo fer a couple winters though... And 'Jerimiah Johnson' a close second...
i just can't get past Leonardo DeCrappyo as the lead... Might just haveta suck it up and check it out anyway..
