A friend has acquired a few rounds (from a collection) of carbine ammo with the head stamp "7.62X33 WMN 59". Are any of you familiar with this?
I am thanking you.

7.62 X 33 is just metric for .30 Carbine.
WMN is being read upside down. Should be NWM. Nederlandsche Wapen-en Munitiefabriek NV., "DE KRUITHOORN, 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Supposedly, corrosive, Berdan primed.
Lot of arguing about it here. The 'Dutchman' links work if you copy and paste.
