I would think a rebuilt non import marked carbine would be in the $800 to $900 range. While yours seems that it's been coated with something I would say the price is a bit low at $700 but it should attract buyers at that price.

It looks like it does as it seems in the photos to have a bit of a shine to it. Is the finish smooth to the touch like it might be a coat of poly or such on it?

OK, now I get it. Some of the photos I posted were taken years ago after a liberal wipe-down with CLP. The photos of the serial number, side view of rear sight and receiver from above are certainly from this session and they do make it look like there is a clear coat finish of some kind on it.
