    Default M14 BB rifle

My Grandson is always asking me questions about my service in Vietnam. One day I showed him a photo of me holding my M14. He said he wanted a rifle like that. So, while browsing thru our local Farm King store I spotted a M14 BB rifle. It was marked down to $85 from $199 so I bought it for him for Christmas. It is full size and of course alot of plastic but very realistic from 20 feet away. CO2 powered and made by Daisy. Thought you might be interested.

Very interesting. I still use my Red Ryder from Christmas 60+ years ago.

Hey Tom, I'm interested too. I found them on Amazon and ebay as well. Reading the reviews, some state that a real M14 stock can be exchanged with a little fitting. Some complain about the amount of plastic but most of the internal parts and the barrel liner is steel so not a real problem. They say the power and accuracy is good and the sights are adjustable. I've been looking for a semi auto Co2 pistol to blast squirrels with but they aren't strong enough. This rifle uses 2 cartridges so power is increased. If you get a chance to shoot it give us an update?

Here is the Amazon link if any of you want to read the reviews.

After Grandson opens present on Christmas day, I'm sure we will try it out. No photo yet either. Yes, it has adjustable rear sight like the real thing. Not sure if original wood stock would fit, maybe. That might make it too heavy for him. I did put an original web sling on it tho.

I just ordered one also, along with a pack of CO2 cartridges.

Did you pay more than $85? And is it a Daisy?
