Default 1985 Ruger Redhawk 44 mag

I've got my eye on a used one that is blued with 7 1/2 inch barrel. There is a slight drag ring around the cylinder, but otherwise looks new. Anyone have one these and were there any problems with them?

Had one in .44 Magnum back between 1985 and 1988. Fine revolver. Heavy enough to moderate recoil with heavy loads. Front sight easily replaced. Useful for changing light conditions, etc.

I just picked up one last weekend, stainless with a 7 1/2 barrel. Built like a tank and locks up tight. Nice revolver and complements my Ruger Super Redhawk.

If yours do not have them on, buy a set of rubber grips. Helps with heavy slugs when used.
