I found a knife at a local pawn shop,It has red plastic spacers at the top and bottom of the leather grip. Looks new but has no finish and looks polished. Would it be advisable to remove the grip assembly and refinish the blade and other metal parts? How do I remove the grip assembly without damaging the leather and metal parts?
    Thanks, Was only20.00

Can you post a picture? Do not remove anything. They are going for 100 to really big bucks on Ebay.
