41 mag Ruger someone wanted one?

Yes, on the surface, that is a good price at $463.59 and a good caliber. MSRP is $625.00. What kind of reputation does Sportsman's Guide have? Are they a reputable retailer? I've never done business with them.

After my POS taurus failed, I was looking for a .41 mag. At the time Ruger only made a SA and I wanted a double action. I bought a lightly used S&W 57. If Ruger would have had a Redhawk available I might have bought it.

I have a friend who has bought numerous firearms from them with no problems.
I don't know how it would work out if he were to receive something that was "broken" or "missing"
I've bought surplus ammo from them in the past but you have to watch their shipping charges.
I've also bought shirts from them. I sent them back. Kind of funny, they were made in Vietnam and they thought all Americans are FAT and short so I had a large shirt that would not cover my belly button. GRIN. They took them back with no problems. That was years ago.
