Default Does anyone here have a Giraud Scope Stand?

I just got a Giraud Scope Stand. When I received it, It was sticking. I wanted to compare notes with someone that has one on how it works after I got it unstuck.

    Thanks,

    Danny

Thanks for the reply. This should save a lot of time if you can observe yours and let me know how the operation is.

The legs were not stuck. When I got it, the plastic block that holds the tripod style screw that mounts to the scope was locked tight. I ended up cranking on the elevation handle hard enough in one direction that the black elevation adjustment knob unscrewed from the shaft. I got it freed up, and now it seems to work ok, I think.

Here is my question. When you rotate your elevation adjustment knob clockwise and counterclockwise, does it have a little rotational play in either direction before the scope elevates or lowers?

    Thanks,

    Danny

I just saw this. When I bought mine I did not buy Doug's scope mount. I use a Creedmoor Pole Cat so I can't help you.
