I recently acquired a Colt 1911a1 serial #1672141 made in 1944 if anyone could give me some SRS info it woud be great fully appreciated Thank You .

Thanks Stan ,the only provenance i have so far is a firearms registration and fireams license that was issued to the previous owner from Washington dc where he resided after retiring from the military in the early 70s , even the gun license has the serial number of 1911a1 as well
