Default US Property M70 with USMC Unertl 8X

This is one that has been on my bucket list for a while. This is a US Property marked model 70 sold by CMP auction in 2006. I put the USMC Unertl 8x on there to make it look like one of the two variations of Model 70's used by the USMC snipers in Vietnam.

One question I do have is, were most of these glass bedded? I know the Marines glass bedded the ones that went to Vietnam, but I know also the majority of those were the WWII Model 70's rebuilt into target rifles, according to the books. I didn't know if it was common for the ones that were used by the Army to be Glass Bedded?

Other than the 373 standard rifles purchased in 1942 in the 40,000 to 50,000 serial range. The only thing I have found that might distinguish a Marine model 70 and one that was used by another branch, is the mention the Marines glass bedded their rifles. So that is why I'm curious if the other branches bedded them as well.
