  1. Default WTS WWII MARK 2 Type 1 Robeson Shuredge

This is a USGI WWII issue Mark 2 combat knife. It is blade marked for Robeson Cutlery Company. This knife configuration is probably the most highly recognized of any to come out of WWII. Often called a KA-BAR knife, because the Mark 2 is most closely recognized with that company; this one is manufactured by the lesser known and less commonly encountered ROBESON CUTLERY COMPANY. The blade is approximately 7 inches in length. It is a rare Type 1 configuration with the heavy butt and tang threaded at the pommel. The plastic U.S.N./MK 2 scabbard is is VG+ condition; it has a working snap with on slight flaw in the webbing. This blade has been slightly sharpened near the tip. If you want the real deal in a WWII fighting knife with the rare threaded, heavy pommel made by Robeson, this could be your knife. A great piece of original WWII history at a reasonable offering. Thanks for considering this WWII weapon. Reference: COLES III; Page 88. Reasonably offered at $250
