    Default Complete K98 stock set.....?

A local sprts shop just happens to have a complete stock set for a K98. including cup butt plate barrel band and bayonet lug pc.
    Asking $140.00.

Just wondering if any ideas on value. I'd but it and take to MAX show later this year if anyone needed it>
It is in very good condition..

I think value would depend on a number of things. If it is Russian capture with numbers stamped on the side, if it was sanded or varnished, if the proof marks are clear. If there is no serial number in the barrel vhannel and not sanded would increase value

If it is original German production (even a Russian Capture) with visible markings I would buy it just to hang onto. Never know when you will come across a sportered K98 with a butchered stock. Price is dependent on condition and configuration. A late war K98 stock(practically has NO markings) could be worth over $500 if unsanded.
