Default Target profile in WW1 and WW2

I like to shoot my 03's I have two shooters, one high number "collector" (also a shooter) and a low number "collector" I do not shoot. I would like to know what the targets used at the 100 yd (meter) and 200 yard (meter) ranges looked like in WW1 and WW2. I currently use the SR-1 center at 100 meters and the sr42c center at 200.
I am not ready to enlist in the Army for either war, but it would be interesting to know what they used at the time. Maybe 100 and 200 yards were not in the curriculum...
    Betcha somebody here knows..Thanks

current 100yd target is the SR-1. Current 200yd target is SR. The 5V target preceeded the SR target from about 1922 to 1967.

Some of that is from memory, so hopefully someone else can confirm.

I wouldn't know how to compare the old V target with a current bullseye that tells anybody anything about a firearm's performance.

They had a 10 inch black center, all you would want to know about them is in each rifles respective FM.
