  1. Default IMR4895 C.U.P. Pressure

Morning guys, got my first krag the other day, looking to do some loads with IMR4895 pushing a hornaday 150gr fmjbt (because I have a thousand of them). Thinking of 38grs, can't find any cup pressures for this load, good/bad, has anyone used this combo before? Thanks

    38 grains of IMR4895 is over max for a 150. Max is 36.0, 2,435 fps, 39,700 CUP.
    Spelling and grammar count!

Hodgdon stresses that H4895 is the powder for reduced loads, and they own IMR now. Haven't seen any comparisons.

I tried the 147 gr FMJBT bullets years ago in a couple Krags. Never could get decent accuracy with them.

Perhaps you will have better luck.
