  1. Default No 1 MK III* Value

Just picked up a mix master BSA 1917 No1 MK III* with a dark bore & beautiful unused wood (has lots of proof/inspectors marks) paid $175.00, did I do alright? (First time Enfield owner)

I see beaten up doggy ones as low as $400 so yeah I would say you did quite well.

I picked up a 1918 one that was re-serialized due to arsenal upgrades for $350. You did just fine for what you paid.

    Default Auction BSA

I paid $180.00 for a 1918 dated BSA No. 1 MK. III* las august at a local auction. Very nice shape with a good bore. It came with a mint condition Kerr No-Buckl sling which I sold for $100.00 so my net cost was only $80.00. From prices I've seen lately I think I did pretty well. Numbers match on receiver, barrel and bolt, no FTR marking but I suspect the stock may have come from an earlier rifle as it is relieved for a cut-off. It is a duplication in my collection so I may list it for sale somewhere later.
