  1. Default SRS Serial Check please

I just purchased a 1911 with a serial number of 533776. Could anyone check this with the SRS databases?

    Thanks
    Bob

    Thought that one sounded close.

This one was shipped November 25, 1918 to the Ordnance Officer, Washington, D.C.

Do you know the history on that one? Mine is about half the condition.

Nothing other than the information that was received on a Colt historical letter.

I, too, just bought my first Colt 1911 with serial number 566935. It went through the Augusta Arsenal for use in WWII and a High Standard barrel replaced the original. Could one of you kind gentlemen with access to the SRS data check for any information on this pistol? Would a request to Colt possibly get me additional information about where it might have been originally shipped, probably in late 1918?
