    Default Mod. 70 value?

It is a post 64 model, however it is the factory stocked Mannicher with a 20" barrel. I think the stocks came from Fajen or some other stock maker and they may have done the work. But they were sold and cataloged by Winchester. It is in very good+ condition, Weaver 4 pwr. scope, rear barrel sight missing. Never see them for sale, need a ball park figure, may sell mine.

I recall the Mannlicher (sp?) stock version of the Winchester 70 being listed in their catalogs back in the late 60's. The rarity of this model should command an increase in value. I would guess a figure of plus $200-250 over a similar condition standard model.

Thank you----PS; spelling is correct. Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher, Austrian gun designer/inventer. Invented many rifle designs including semi-auto rifles & pistols before 1900, died in 1903.
