    Default Ammo stand I built

I built it over the weekend. I wanted to experiment with laminating different woods together. The bottom is ipe (very heavy), maple and topped with walnut. The finish is oil based urethane. It will hold 22 - 30-06 rounds nose down. for easy loading. I'll take another pic when the finish is dry and I can put some rounds in.

I routered some finger groove in the sides.

Drill templae using some graphics software.

    Holes drilled.

    After first coat of finish.
