    Default Polycoated bullets

These are advertised as standard lead handgun bullets with a plastic coating. They claim it eliminates the need for lubrication and so leaves a cleaner bore in the pistol. I saw these listed online by King Shooter Supply in Pa.

I would like to hear from guys who have used these bullets and know something about them. TIA

I haven't shot them yet but everything I have heard from folks who do is good. So far.

I started shooting Precision coated bullets a few years ago, in 45 ACP and 9mm. After about 1,000 rounds I can say they work as advertised. I also have been powder coating my cast bullets for a bit over a year and they too are clean to handle, clean to shoot, and as accurate as lead bullets for me and my .38 Spec./.357 Mag., .44 Mag., 45 ACP, 9mm, and 7.62x54r. (I tried some in my Garand but only 16, and haven't fully checked the results). They look purdy too!
