WTS: Very Nice 03-A4gery Sniper Rifle w/Lyman Alaskan Scope

SOLD PENDING FUNDS. This is a very nicely put together replica of the venerable 03-A4 Springfield [Remington] sniper rifle that began service in WW II and continued into the Vietnam War era. It is built on a Springfield [Remington]03-A3 receiver, converted back from Drill Rifle. The drill rifle had the cut-off tack welded to keep bolt from falling out. Grinding off this tack did not weaken the receiver. It has a 6-44 RA barrel with excellent bore and should be a tack-driver. Reproduction C-Stock. Correct checkered buttplate. Nicely parkerized. Is mounted with Lyman Alaskan All-Weather 2.5x scope with post reticle. Vintage Redfield mount and rings. This replicates possible late WW II or Korean War setup. Payment by USPS Money Order only.
